Our Defender System meets or exceeds Miami-Dade and Florida building code requirements for roll-down hurricane screens (the strictest hurricane codes on earth). What is the maximum width of a Motorized Screen available?
We can custom manufacture any motorized screens from 3’ to 30′ wide. We specialize in large screen openings and have engineered our hardware and motors to perform exceptionally well in these wide openings.
How do Motorized Screens operate?
Our Motorized Screens are powered by a quiet tubular internal motor and can be controlled with a handheld remote. With the touch of a button, the screens can be raised or lowered to provide shade, privacy, and insect protection.
Can Motorized Screens be installed on existing patios and lanais?
Yes. Our Motorized Screens can be custom-fitted for both new construction and existing outdoor spaces, including patios, lanais, pergolas, garages, and covered outdoor living areas. Our team will measure and recommend the best installation solution for your space.
What screen fabric options are available?
Our Motorized Screens are available in multiple fabric types and colors. We offer high-quality solar, insect, and privacy fabrics from Phifer® and Twitchell®, adhering to strict standards that protect against bacteria, mold, and mildew growth.
What is the warranty on Motorized Screens?
Lifetime on the hardware, up to 15 years on the fabric/mesh (varies by brand), and 5 years on the motor and controls.
